Early nosing passes detect nuances of old flowers, parchment and black raisins; aeration encourages spice, old oak and fabric. Palate entry is gloriously rich, fruity, resiny and clean; at midpalate, there are multilayered tastes of maple, palm oil, sap, light toffee, marzipan. Ends concentrated, oily, viscous, sweet and oaky.

Brilliant golden amber color. Caramel, dried fruit, brown spice and mineral aromas. A very soft supple entry leads to a dry-yet-fruity medium-bodied palate with buttery caramel, spice, cedar, and mineral flavors. Finishes with a long fade of toffee and spice. Very delicately flavored and elegant.
