Slightly more backward than its siblings, the 2008 Pinot Noir Cine Sera Fiddlestix Vineyard in the Santa Rita Hills. It is made in a distinctive, more masculine style, with additional structure, tannin and meat notes intermixed with notions of cola, sassafras, cherries, pomegranate and earth. This medium-bodied 2008 will benefit from 6-12 months of bottle age, and should drink well for 5-7 years thereafter. Kudos to Paul Lato!

Winery Notes
Winery Notes:
Five barrel lot 60 % New French oak unfiltered Dijon Clones 113, 667,777. This could be one of the best wines ever made from this site. It has all the classic elements of a fine Pinot. Exuberant nose, full body with velvety texture and long spicy finish. The tannins are fully ripe and the wine has a harmony and grace of a great burgundy.

Varietal :
Pinot Noir
Pinot Noir is a versatile red wine grape used to make some of the world's greatest wines. Depending on where it is grown, Pinot Noir can be earthy or fruity, light-bodied or heavy, pale garnet or deep red. In France, Pinot Noir produces fine red Burgundy and is one of the three grapes used in Champagne (the skins are removed prior to fermentation to produce blanc de noir or "white from red.") It is also considered the most diverse, food-friendly wine View all our additional Pinot Noir items
