Formerly known as Mouton (the name had to be changed because of a lawsuit by Mouton-Rothschild), this is an impressive small estate represented by the immensely talented Jean-Philippe Janoueix. The 2005 was just coming off malolactic when I tasted it, which undoubtedly affected its overall performance. Revealing loads of extraction along with a dense purple color, a big, tannic structure, and a muscular full-bodied style, it should age for at least a decade.Additional Information
