A great vintage for Lafite, a first growth that lives up to its billing, exceeded in this vintage only by Latour. Unusually concentrated and long on the finish, this one ups the ante and the usually restrained character of young Lafite and makes it almost lush and polished, echoing minty plum and cassis flavors for minutes.Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate
